QBCC Licence: 15083677

Not sure how much a kitchen or bathroom renovation would cost with us?

Our kitchen and bathroom renovations start around $30,000, depending on the size of the project and chosen features. Tapware, tiles and cabinetry finish can greatly vary the price.

Do I really need to tell you my budget?

Telling us your budget helps us in choosing the right materials to ensure your design needs are met. Eg. Laminex or stone bench tops, decorative or plain tiles. We are here to help!

Will Brisbane Kitchens and Bathrooms co-ordinate my entire project for me?

Yes, we will manage your renovation project from start to finish and work with other licensed trades.

Does custom cabinetry mean it will be expensive?

Custom cabinets are simply cabinets that are designed to suit your kitchen or bathroom’s space and needs. It does not have to be expensive to custom fit your home, we just want to use every bit of your space effectively.

What door and drawer hardware do you use?

We prefer to use Blum soft close drawer runners and hinges as they have a life time warranty.

Do I need to buy my own appliances or taps?

You are welcome to buy your own kitchen appliances or bathroom fixtures if you choose. Our only requirement is that we need to know which products during the design phase because of their size. Most of our customers let us project manage for them and purchase through us.

Do you have a showroom?

Brisbane Kitchens and Bathrooms have a mobile service and come to your home. This allows us to provide a competitive price.

What is the warranty and what does it cover?

All our new kitchens and bathrooms come with a 6 year, 6 month warranty as outline with the QBCC. This covers faulty workmanship and products. The products used in the construction of your kitchen and bathroom are covered by the manufacturer policy. If there is a problem, contact us and we will sort it out.

I have had other quotes and the prices are all very different, why is this?

You need to ensure each business is quoting the same products. Different designs, materials and fixtures cost different amounts, which means the final price will be affected. Make sure you are comparing apples with apples. For example a laminated bench top is more cost effective than a marble bench top.

Which payment forms do you accept?

We accept payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT through internet banking), which is our preferred method of payment. Credit Cards (1.75% merchant fees apply) are accepted online via our Accounting (Xero) partner Stripe.

Is there a correct order when it comes to the flooring around my kitchen?

Once your old kitchen has been removed, there may be sections missing of floor coverings. If the existing flooring needs to be redone, we recommend after installation is completed. If the floor is staying the same, it is important to mention this to your designer so they can make sure any spaces are covered with cabinetry.

What are the cabinets made out of and where are they made?

All our kitchen cabinet and bathroom vanity carcasses are made from Australian 16mm HMRMDF (Highly Moisture Resistant Medium Density Fibre) white board to ensure strength and durability. They are manufactured and assembled here in Brisbane, ready to be installed into your new space.

Do I need to find my own plumber or electrician?

No, we are a licensed builder and can legally employ other trades for you, taking the hassle out of managing the project yourself. This keeps your building project on schedule as we organise trades in advance.
